At Coastline Outdoor Adventures, our dream is to help families across Perth’s northern coast get outside, try something new, and create unforgettable memories. From kids to adults catching their first wave or reeling in their first fish, our experiences are designed for all ages and abilities. We believe the best moments happen outdoors with salty hair, sandy feet and big smiles.

Behind the business is Johann and Elzette who are qualified teachers with over 32 years combined experience. Johann is a passionate Outdoor Education Teacher with over 15 years experience teaching in schools across Perth, with additional qualifications in Exercise and Sports Science, Surf Coaching, Snorkelling, Mountain Biking, Abseiling and Rock Climbing. He has spent the most part of his teaching career working with young people and adults in the outdoors.

Surfing and fishing have been lifelong passions and sharing these experiences with others is something that comes naturally and wholeheartedly. Growing up in Port Hedland meant fishing was a regular past time, then moving to Perth gave new opportunities to explore the local marina’s and beaches. From chasing herring in the morning to tailor at sunset, weekends were often spent with a rod and reel close at hand. After catching a mulloway from Mullaloo Beach, the rod and reel were retired for a time and surfing became the new challenge of choice.

Learning to surf at Mullaloo Point was the perfect training ground for honing the skills of a beginner surfer. From the age of 18 onwards, driving to Yanchep, Lancelin and the South West became a regular part of the surfing adventure.

The joy of surfing, fishing, being in the ocean and exploring the coast is something we are passionate about and would love to share with you.
